Looking into Your Woodlot

This series of articles represents a cooperative effort between Cornell Cooperative Extension (CCE) and the New York Forest Owners Association (NYFOA). Each article includes two versions to suit different newsletter needs. The first version is longer and usually about 800 to 900 words and the second version is shorter and between 300 to 400 words. Reproduction of intact articles is granted for non-profit educational purposes. Credit should be given to the authors of individuals articles.

If you are interested in additional articles, send your ideas as a question (for example...what tools and equipment should a forest owner have available?) to Peter Smallidge.
